The Anchor, a popular Restaurant and Pub in the coastal village of Pringle bay, begging for a face-lift, was given a new look, courtesy of a few enthusiastic resident volunteers. With some black paint and various eye catching travel photos from a local explorer, it was sure to make you double take as you pass!
The aesthetic transition was achieved mostly with the use of bold, impact creating black paint, making the case for a step into the dark and moody side – the ideal ambiance for this establishment.
Raiding the storeroom, a vintage bar door was repurposed as styling element, combining well with other dark timber features to amplify the sense of spaciousness.
A demarcated kids area was fashioned with sunny portraits of children from around the globe, instantly brightening up the darker space.
