  • Take a walk to the village centre and stroll through the second hand bookshop, view the latest surf gear at the Surfshop, or buy trinkets and gifts at the Giftshop, or pop in at Tickle Mouse for rusks and biscuits- but beware the fudge is addictive!
  • Lemon and Lime Deli has the best 100% rye bread imported from France, and stocks the most amazing deli and freshly baked goods, as well as beautiful gifts! Be sure to pay them a visit.
  • Join the locals on Wednesday or Friday late afternoons for a drink at The Anchor Pub and share in the bantering and community vibe!
  • Have a delicious cappuccino at Simply Coffee or a delectable dinner at Pringle Bay stalwart, Bistro 365(a very impressive wine list!) The Asian Pork Belly is unreal!
  • Grab your blanket and basket and head for the Unspoilt Beach and enjoy a picnic whilst the sun is setting over the bay.
  • Put on your running shoes and join the community for The Parkrun/walk at The Harold Porter Botanical Garden in Betty’s Bay, every Saturday morning at 8h00. It’s 5km and the whole family can join in the fun!
  • Make the effort to pay a visit to the  penguins at  Stony Point Nature Reserve, home to one of the largest breeding colonies of African Penguin in the world. Roughly 3 600 penguins live at The Old Whaling station!
  • Nature Walks at Brodie Link, our very own nature reserve, with single track pathways leading to the prominent Hangklip. Let your eyes feast on the spectacular 360° views (approximately 1 hour one-way, with some steep climbs!) Or take the easier 30min path leading onto the escarpment enjoying the breath-taking views over the lighthouse and Moonlight Bay.
  • For the best take away fish-and-chips in the world visit Hake Away in Pringle Bay. The calamari-and-hake combo with chips is scrumptiously good value for money, and the best part, they have a gluten free option! Yum!
  • Sunday family roasts at La Galerie is a firm favourite and they are famous for the greatest Eggs Benedict on the planet! They cater for banting dieters, as well as gluten intolerance and vegetarians.
  • Fynbos Enterprises is one of the institutions in Pringle Bay. They stock all kinds of honey products – handmade soaps and massage wax candles, to die for! Locals converge there on Friday evening for take-away Pizza from a wood burning fire, and usually end up seated at the rustic tables, eating Pizza out of the box and enjoying a glass of wine(bring your own!). As an added bonus, they have the greatest nougat ice cream around. They also make sourdough bread in the wood fired oven over weekends.
  • Book a table at iconic Hook-Line-and Sinker Restaurant that has been going for 21 years! It is celebrated for its fresh fish, wild prawns, steaks and chocolate pots.
  • Experience the unique and quirky ambiance at the Hanging Rock Kitchen,  the chicken from a wood fired oven is a firm  favourite and the thin based pizza is mouth-watering!
  • Spoil yourself at the local Meraki Salon , go for a massage, manicure or pedicure.
  • Experience live music at The Hangklip Hotel over weekends, or party up a storm at the notorious Plankies Pub – in a rustic, informal setting.
  • Take a drive out to The Lighthouse at Moonlight Bay(follow Hangklip Road) and witness the fishermen launch their boats at this beautiful secluded bay area.
  • Take your mountain bike and explore the beauty of nature and surrounds.
  • The Village Market on a Saturday morning, is a real treat. Montana, the pet sheep keep an eye out for new visitors! Come and view the handcrafted goods and snacks to tickle your taste buds! From biltong to delicious pancakes, chocolate brownies and other delectable goodies.
  • Visit the local Alpaca Trio, Don Juan, Truffles and Mickey Blue Eyes at 1015 Elizabeth Road. They are very friendly and will come to the railing if you approach quietly.
