TriBay Booking Conditions

  1.  The booking form will serve as a binding agreement between the guest and Tribay
    Accommodation.

  2.  A 7,5% non-refundable booking fee, as well as a  R350 admin fee will apply to all bookings.

  3.  Booking and reservation shall be made on receipt of deposit and Booking Form, a copy of
    Identity Document and confirmation of Car Registration number. The balance shall be paid at least
    14 days before arrival for bookings not in High Season and before the end of November for
    bookings over the December/January holiday period.

  4.  Any cancellation made (for whatever reason) shall be done in writing. Cancellations one month
    or less before arrival, on day of arrival, during the stay or a no show, full payment due.
    Cancelations 1-2 months before date of arrival – 50% deposit payable. Cancelations more than 2
    months before date of arrival, refund full amount except for 20% of the total booking.

  5.  Guests will be met by a Host of Tribay Accommodation and checked in. If not possible,
    alternative arrangements will be made. Standard check-in times are: Arrival 15:00-18:00 and
    departure 10:00. Requests for special arrangements will be considered.

  6.  In the event that the accommodation booked, becomes unavailable, we will try our utmost to
    provide a suitable alternative. If not, a full refund will be given.

  7.  The number of people using the accommodation shall not exceed the number stated on the
    booking form. Day visitors will only be allowed after prior arrangement with the Host.

  8.  Any damage or breakages must be reported to the Host and will be for the account of the guest.
    Excessive cleaning and laundry costs will further be for the account of the guest.
    The Accommodation and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects must
    be kept in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay and it shall
    be left in the same state of cleanliness and order in which it was found ie clean stove, fridge,
    barbecue and cutlery & crockery washed and packed away.
    On departure no rubbish must be left in the house. Bins must be emptied, rubbish must be  taken to the waste station at the entrance to Pringle Bay, Rooi-Els or
    opposite the Garage in Bettys Bay. 

  9.  General
     

    A. These are quiet villages, forming part of the Kogelberg biosphere. Please respect
    the house, surroundings and other people in the vicinity.
    B. No loud music / Noise (especially after 23:00).
    C. No animals are allowed, unless prior arrangements have been made. Owners
    should ensure that animals are being kept according to applicable by-laws.
    D. Outside lights to be switch off no later than 23:00.
    E. Baboons, wind and fire can cause a lot of damage – please take precautions.
    F. Accommodation is non-smoking.

  10. . Tribay Accommodation reserves the right of entry to the property at any reasonable time for the
    purpose of general maintenance or after receiving complaints about unacceptable behaviour. We
    reserve the right to order any person(s) off the premises.

  11.  Tribay Accommodation reserves the right to refuse any booking at any stage of the booking
    procedure.

  12.  Departure: keys to be left as per arrangement.

  13.  All statements are made, and information given in good faith, being true and correct to the best
    of our belief and knowledge, but Tribay Accommodation accepts no liability in the event of any
    such statement or information not being correct or untrue.

  14.  The Alarm should always be activated when leaving the property as non-adherence will render
    insurance policies null and void.

  15.  Where there are swimming pools on the premises, these are strictly used at own risk. Children
    should always be under adult supervision.

  16.  Tribay Accommodation does not accept liability for any injury, loss, accident or damage
    sustained by any guest, their family, visitors, vehicles or personal effects, however caused.

TRIBAY H0USE RULES

WELCOME
A warm welcome to this amazing part of South-Africa! We wish you a delightful stay and a very memorable experience. This is an incredible area we live in and we are all doing our best to protect and maintain it.
A friendly reminder that you are bound by the terms set out in the booking conditions.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE
The number of people using the accommodation should not exceed the number stated on the booking form. All ages are considered a person unless under 6 months old. Day visitors will only be allowed after prior arrangement with the Host.

CLEANING
This is self catering accommodation. Cleaning services are not provided during your stay. Requests for cleaning during your stay will be referred to an outside contractor.
A fresh set of linen will be provided for stays longer than 7 days.

FIRES
Fires are only allowed in the braai facilities and fireplace.
No fires or fireworks are allowed on the beach or surrounding areas.
Please be cautious of the wind when you are Braaiing. Please do not leave hot coals or ash unattended after your braai as this can start a fire.
Please do not smoke inside the house and extinguish cigarettes safely in an ashtray.
Please be careful when using candles as hot wax can damage furniture and soft furnishings.

SEPTIC TANKS
Please flush only toilet paper down the toilet.

NOISE/LOUD MUSIC
Please respect the neighbours and do not cause disturbances by playing loud music or being excessively loud(especially after 23:00).

RURAL VILLAGE
This area is an UNESCO biosphere protected village. Please look after the fauna and flora.

BABOONS
Please treat baboons with caution at all times, they are focused on food and are not naturally aggressive towards humans unless they are threatened. Kindly close windows and lock doors when you are away or not in the immediate vicinity. Please do not feed them. If a baboon gets into the house, remain calm and give them a clear route to exit.

ANIMALS
If the yard is not fenced, please keep dogs on a leash when outside.

FURNITURE
Please do not move furniture around as this may cause damage to the surrounds. Please respect locked cupboards as private property of the owners.

ON DEPARTURE
Please ensure that all windows and doors are properly closed and locked.
Please activate the alarm.
Kindly leave the house in the same condition as on your arrival.
Please wash and pack away the dishes.
Kindly drop off the refuse bags at the waste station at the entrance of Pringle Bay, Rooi-Els or opposite the garage in Bettys Bay. Please do not leave bags in the house or use the bins without bags.
Please drop off the KEYS IN THE TRIBAY KEY-RETURN POST BOX, fixed to the wall at The Pringle restaurant, in the village centre in Pringle Bay next to Chas Everitt.

DAMAGE
In the event of breakage or damage, kindly report this to your Host.
